The O!Play HD2 may be the first media device to support USB 3.0, but we're guessing that hasn't exactly inspired too many of you to run out and buy the things -- assuming you can actually find one for sale. Maybe a slimmer, shaplier form factor would do the trick. That's the new O!Play Mini, a much more petite entry into the series that makes do with a single USB 2.0 connector along with an SD/MMC/MS/XD card reader up front. Around back are optical audio and an HDMI 1.3 connector, through which it will pump 1080p video and up to 7.1 audio in Dolby Digital AC3, DTS 2.0+, even TrueHD and DTS-HD, plus a variety of other formats. There are also RCA outputs if you prefer your digital steam in audio. File format support looks pretty legendary, including all the usuals plus less commonly supported extensions like MKV, MTS, OGG, and FLAC, even RighTxT subtitles. No word on price or availability yet, but with the HD2 clocking in at $129.99 we wouldn't be surprised to see this slotting in somewhere under $100.ASUS O!Play Mini player ditches the USB 3.0 but keeps the 1080p originally appeared on Engadget on Fri, 24 Dec 2010 20:03:00 EDT. 7 Wii Games the PlayStation Move Desperately Needs to Rip-off
PlayStation is set to release its version of the Nintendo Wii Remote and Nunchuk motion control, the PlayStation Move. It's obvious that PlayStation has taken a page out of Nintendo's Book, but these are the main differences between the Move and the Wiimote.
1. The Glow Sphere
The first noticeable difference between the Nintendo Wii Remote (codename Wiimote) and the PlayStation Move, is the glowing colorful spherical orb atop the PlayStation Move motion controller. The glowing colors of the PlayStation Move is certain to get everyone's attention and cause seizures, while the Wii Remote keeps it simple.
2. Wires
If you haven't noticed yet, there's a difference between the way the Nintendo Wii Remote and PlayStation Move's motion controllers connect to their counterparts (sub-controller and Nunchuck). The Nintendo Wii connects to its secondary controller, Nunchuck, via a short cable while the PlayStation Move takes motion controlling a bit further by making its controllers connect wirelessly to one another.
3. Weight/Size
The Wii Remote and PlayStation Move's size is very similar, with the PlayStation Move's motion controller being just a slight longer in length, but the main difference between these two motion controllers is the difference in weight. The PlayStation Move weighs quite a bit less than the Wii Remote motion controller, almost to the point of feeling cheap.
4. Reverse Controllers
If you're used to playing with the Nintendo Wii Remote, you'll have to learn to deal with the difference in how the PlayStation Move's motion controller reverses the order of its controllers. With the Nintendo Wii Remote the analog controller (Nunchuk) is held in the left hand, but the analogy control of the PlayStation Move has been reversed and you'll have to get used to controlling your player's movements with your right hand.
5. Button Layout
There's a significant difference between the amount of buttons on the Nintendo Wii Remote and the PlayStation Move motion controller. The PlayStation is packed with buttons compared to the Nintendo Wii Remote motion controller. From the looks of the PlayStation Move's motion controller, it seems a bit confusing to play and there's also a difference in the way these two different motion controllers position their directional controls.
6. Recharging
The PlayStation Move decided to establish a difference between itself and the Wii Remote by giving its motion controlling device a rechargeable battery. The Nintendo Wii Remote can be upgraded to several rechargeable battery kits, but right out of the box, you'd have to use AA batteries to repower this motion controller.
7. Price
Overall the price difference between the Move and Wii Remote might be of some concern. The PlayStation Move uses the PlayStation Eye to sense its motion controls, but the Wii Remote only requires owning a Nintendo Wii. The PlayStation Move will ship with a starter kit that includes a PlayStation Eye, PlayStation Move, and a game, but you'll have to pay close to $100 for it - ouch.

From Atari to Wii: The Boom in Gaming
The game Adventure has the distinction of being the first console game to have an Easter egg, the famous egg was first discovered by a gamer in Utah. The Easter egg was put in the game because at the time game developers did not receive any credit for their work. The game was based on a previous text based game by the same name made by Willie Crowther, and Don Woods. Adventure also has the distinction of being the first graphic based adventure game. Another Adventure first was the ability to carry items with you.
Being so innovative helped to make Adventure popular and allow it to sale a millions copies. Adventure is still loved by many fans. Adventure involves you searching for a chalice and bringing it to the Golden Castle. While you roam the land in search of the castle you face three dragons, mazes, and other mystical locations.
The game offers three levels of play, the second level is the easiest level to find the Easter egg in. A popular trick that is used is when you are eaten by the dragon you can press the game reset and bring the player back to life, this also brings the dragons back but all items are where you left them.

Darkest of Days Xbox360 Achievement List
The Xbox 360 is a top-of-the-line gaming system, but it's not terribly impressive when there is no picture on the Xbox 360 that you own. I mean, after all, video is what it is all about. Unfortunately, once in a while Xbox 360 gamers are face with the problem of no video. Overheating, as with so many other Xbox 360 problems, seems to be the culprit here. The Xbox 360 has a lot of advanced electronics packed into a small console. There is little available extra space, and consequently, just barely enough room for good air circulation. Sometimes, after a long playing session, the heat buildup is enough to have you end up with the Xbox 360 no picture problem.
Generally, the Xbox 360 no picture problem is temporary. If you shut down the system and give it some time to cool off, about an hour should do it, it should run perfectly when you turn it back on. If you don't overheat it again, the video will be fine. If you overheat it again, you'll be sure to have the same problem. It's not a serious flaw in the system, but it is irritating to the avid gamer.
It appears that when the system overheats, special clamps that attach the graphic processor unit to the motherboard overheat and become loosened. They get so loose that the graphic processor becomes electronically detached from the motherboard circuitry and stops functioning, leaving you with the realization your Xbox 360 has no picture. If the problem persists, regardless of how you try to stop it, you might be left with no alternative but to send the system back to a Microsoft repair center for repairs. If you're not under warranty, you can expect to pay about $150 for repair and shipping, and expect to wait about six weeks for the system's return.
Before you take that ultimate step, however, try improving the air flow to your console. Make sure that it is not located in a closed in area with little air flow. Don't place it next to any other heat generating electronic equipment. Setting it next to an open window in good weather is also a help. Don't overlook the benefit of having a small table fan blowing a constant cooling breeze over the console.
If you decide to seek help by purchasing a repair guide from an online source, be sure to check it out thoroughly. Some of the online guides are great; some are rip offs. Check with friends and fellow gamers to see what has worked for them. There's no sense reinventing the wheel. If your friends have a process that works, consider following their advice. In the long run, what's important is that your Xbox360 no picture problem is gone, and your machine is up and running when you feel like gaming.
If you don't want to give $140 to Microsoft support center or wait for 2 months to fix it up. Here is your step by step professional Xbox 360 3 Red Lights Fix Guide. Read the James Dean's Xbox 360 3 Red Light Fix Review for more...

Wii Roundup: Japanese Wii Sales Rebound from 22% Drop as Second Wii Title Hits Platinum Sales Mark and a Surprise New Wii Channel Goes Online
The Nintendo Wii continues to break worldwide records, but did everyone actually think that the Virtual Console would be just as popular as the regular games that are released for the Wii? People were definitely looking forward to this form of technology, because it allows people to bring back the old titles from back in the day. The Wii's Classic Controller is a great idea, which allows people to play the older games from years ago with ease. Seeing that the Wii's success is just increasing, this is by far one of the more important milestones for the Nintendo Wii.
Zelda II: The Adventure of Link was released back in 1988, but it has also joined the Virtual Consoles library of games. The Nintendo Wii has been out since November 19th, 2006, which makes it a little under a year old. Zelda II is title 100 on the Wii's Virtual Console and sells for 500 Wii Points, which is $5.00 in US dollars. The 100th game milestone is a great achievement for the Nintendo Wii, but there is one other milestone that is a bit greater, one that really needs to be discussed about.
About a week ago, on June 1st, Nintendo announced that the Wii's Virtual Console has hit almost 5 million in console game downloads, which is just amazing. We knew that the Wii was really popular, but 5 million? Actually, to be exact, it was 4.7 million in console game downloads, but now it might be even closer to that 5 million mark. The dual-milestone is definitely going to be history and Nintendo should be very proud of themselves. Not only does the Nintendo Wii offer games from other Nintendo systems, but they also feature titles from other systems such as the Sega Genesis and TurboGrafx-16, which just makes the Virtual Console more popular.
The current games that are most popular out of the 4.7 million downloads are...
1. Super Mario Bros. (NES)
2. Super Mario 64. (N64)
3. Mario Kart 64. (N64
4. Super Mario World. (SNES)
5. The Legend of Zelda (NES)
All of these titles are great and it's no surprise that they are very popular. I myself didn't expect the Virtual Console to be THIS popular, but it is and it will just get more popular as Nintendo continues to add more and more titles to their library. By comparison, the XBox 360's Live Arcade has had about 25 million in downloads, which is a great achievement in itself, but the XBox has been out longer than the Wii and it offers free games as well, which can probably vouch for many of its game downloads.
4.7 million might not seem like a lot of downloads, but when you consider that you are putting out a decent amount of money for these titles, you can see why it is a lot. If these games were all free, I highly guarantee that there would be over 3 times more downloads than the XBox 360. I will continue to update everyone regarding this huge milestone update.
